Steven Tran

Steven Tran has extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Credit Risk at Synchrony since November 2015, where responsibilities include leading Credit Risk Review and overseeing Credit Risk Conformance. Prior to this role, Steven held the position of Vice President in the Credit Risk Review Group at Barclays Investment Bank from September 2013 to November 2015 and served as Vice President of Fund Administration/Services at State Street from October 2012 to August 2013. Earlier in the career, Steven was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs focusing on Fund Administration, Liquidity Risk Management, and Internal Audit from March 2004 to October 2012, and held the role of Assistant Vice President in Internal Audit at Credit Suisse First Boston from 2000 to 2004 following the acquisition of DLJ. Steven holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, and MIS from the University at Buffalo, completed in 1996.
