Burke Liburt has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Burke is currently the Associate Director of The Innovation Consultancy at Stony Brook University's Innovation Center. Burke is also the Managing Director of The Center for Management Innovation at The College of Business, Stony Brook University.

Prior to these roles, Burke worked as the Managing Director of The Center for Management Innovation at College of Business, SUNY Stony Brook, where they were also the Director of Business Strategies & Innovation Development. Burke has also held the position of CMO and Co-Founder at TextToRewards, and VP of Marketing/Development at SynchroPET, where they were also a Co-Founder.

Earlier in their career, Burke served as the Principal at Crossroads Marketing and Senior Vice-President of Brand Development at Digital Motion. Burke also founded and served as the CEO of Stand Out From The Crowd. Additionally, they worked as Principal and VP of Sales at TVS Television Network, and as Senior Vice-President of Marketing Sales at Corinthian Broadcasting, A Dun & Bradstreet Company.

Burke Liburt obtained an A.B. degree in Philosophy from Colgate University, where they studied from 1956 to 1960. Burke also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from the same university in Hamilton, New York. In terms of additional certifications, they received training as an Incident Safety Officer from the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications in May 2013. Burke also obtained a Fire Fighter (1) certification from the Vocational Education Extension Board, Suffolk County in August 2004. Furthermore, they are an Emergency Medical Technician certified by the NY State Department of Health since June 2013. Additionally, they completed the NYSDOH Covid-19 Vaccinator Training, although specific details regarding the obtained month and year are not provided.
