Gary Russ, PMP, MBA

Gary Russ, PMP, MBA has over 15 years of experience in project management and operations. From 2019 to present, they have been working as a Project Manager for Synergem Technologies, Inc, responsible for projects related to deployment of infrastructure and systems supporting Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG 9-1-1) services across the U. S. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Atos as a Project Manager for Cyber Security, leading customer and internal deployments of enterprise Cyber Security tools to support Security Operations Center (SOC) functions within a managed services environment. Gary also created security-related policies, processes and procedures for compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Acceptable Risk Standards (ARS). From 2006 to 2016, they worked at Verint Systems as a Project Manager for Call Center Technology, Quality Management, Speech & Data Analytics. Gary implemented enterprise-level, Windows-based applications for call center recording, quality monitoring, business analytics and work force optimization (WFO). Gary also successfully executed $1M+ projects, concurrent with 3-4 smaller scale contracts at a time, primarily for financial services, banking and insurance clients. From 1990 to 2006, they worked at three employers spanning 15+ years as a Project Manager, Director of Operations, Associate Director of Engineering, Marketing, and Business Planning. Gary oversaw all IT- and Telecom-related activities for Call Center build-out / expansion in US, Canada, Latin America, Caribbean and Far East. Gary also chaired a team charged with developing, recommending and implementing uniform project management methodology throughout the IT organization to improve efficiency of planning and implementation as well as consistency in bid proposals for new business development. Gary initiated a company's move into Cisco IP Telephony, Active Voice unified messaging, and local telecom resale.

Gary Russ obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Adelphi University, where they studied Corporate Finance. Gary also holds a Bachelor's Degree from Union College, where they studied Physics. In November 2019, they obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
