Fazil Balkaya

Fazil Balkaya has over twelve years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Program Manager and Co-Owner at ABU Mimarlik. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Senior Specialist for Corporate Strategy and Business Development at Sonus. During this time, they also worked as a Product Manager at Mavenir from 2015 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Manager of Product Marketing and Strategy at BroadSoft. Fazil then worked as a Senior Consultant at Cavell Group from 2017 to 2019. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Principal Analyst at Synergy Research Group and a Founder and Principal Analyst at Balkaya Consulting. Finally, from 2019 to 2021, they were a Product Manager and Product Owner for Commercial WAN Edge at Infovista and Extreme Networks, respectively.

Fazil Balkaya completed a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University in 2011. Fazil then attended the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing in 2013. During their time at Northeastern University, they also obtained a Graduate Certificate of Technological Entrepreneurship in June 2013 and a PMP - Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in April 2013. In 2013, they also began attending Stanford University to pursue a degree in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies, which they completed in 2014.
