Caroline Black has extensive experience in laboratory and field work related to invasive species and botany. Currently serving as a Laboratory Assistant at Syngenta, Caroline previously worked at The University of Texas at Austin as an Invasive Species Senior Technician and a Laboratory Research Assistant III, where responsibilities included rearing parasitoids, designing experiments, analyzing data, and field surveying for invasive moth species. Previous roles include GIS Technician at Apple, Biological Science Technician for the National Park Service, and various research and internship positions. Caroline earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany/Plant Biology from North Carolina State University.
