Sadique Sheik

Sadique Sheik has held various positions in the technology industry since 2007. Sadique's first role was as an Associate System Engineer at IBM Global Business Process Services, which they held from 2007-2014. Sadique then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, San Diego from 2014-2015. In 2015, they moved to Intel Labs as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist. In 2018, they joined SynSense as Director Algorithms and Applications and Senior Research and Development Engineer. Sadique is currently the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at SynSense.

Sadique Sheik obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Neuroscience and Neuromorphic Engineering from ETH Zürich between 2009 and 2013. Sadique also obtained a Master's degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur between 2002 and 2007. In addition, they obtained a certification in Julia Scientific Programming from Coursera in August 2018.
