Vince Turturro

VP, Product Development at Syntheon

Vince has had a long and successful career taking medical devices from concept to market with companies ranging from privately owned, fast-growing start-ups to a Fortune 100 company. He joined Syntheon in 2018 after the successful integration of Endochoice into the Endoscopy Division of Boston Scientific and now serves as Vice President of Product Development, a role in which he focuses on developing the company’s innovative products and preparing them for commercialization. He holds 46 patents himself but enjoys and excels at the challenges offered by product development.

Vince earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. He began his career at Symbiosis Corporation in Miami as a manufacturing engineer where he first met and developed professional and personal relationships with Sean McBrayer, Matt Palmer and Carlos Rivera. He spent several years at Symbiosis/Boston Scientific in manufacturing, process development and R&D and launched several biopsy products for the Boston Scientific Endoscopy business. Vince and his family relocated to Massachusetts with Boston Scientific where he led the Advanced Engineering, Pulmonary and Endovations Disposable Endoscope R&D teams and managed up to 60 team members focused on developing new-to-world gastrointestinal and pulmonary medical devices.

He later joined Kimberly Clark Healthcare in Georgia as Director of Medical Device R&D and was promoted to Global Vice President of Research and Development where he led more than 100 scientists and engineers developing and sustaining products for the $1.6 Billion Healthcare business. He joined Endochoice in 2014 as Vice President of Single Use Products which was acquired by Boston Scienitfic and ultimately led him back to Miami to reunite with Sean, Carlos and Matt to help Syntheon continue to invent, develop and commercialize innovative medical devices and technologies.
