Younes Moustaghfir

Younes Moustaghfir has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Younes is currently working at Syntho as the Head of DevOps Services, a position they started in August 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Syntho, starting in August 2021.

Before joining Syntho, Younes had experience at Aegon Nederland, where they initially served as an Intern Business Information Analyst from September 2019 to January 2020. Younes then became a Working Student Business Information Analyst from February 2020 to July 2021.

Additionally, Younes worked at Piercing Mania as a Developer/System Administrator from July 2016 to January 2020.

During their time at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Younes held the position of Lid Presidium en Fractievoorzitter in Universiteitsraad from September 2018 to September 2019. This role involved representing the academic community and being part of the highest democratically elected body within the university's administration.

Furthermore, Younes served as the Chairman of Studievereniging ASCI from September 2017 to September 2018. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating the board's activities, ensuring the successful execution of the policy plan, leading internal meetings, and attending external meetings.

Lastly, Younes started their professional journey as a Cashier at dekamarkt from May 2013 to May 2016.

Younes Moustaghfir began their education at Gymnasium Apeldoorn in 2008 and completed their Gymnasium diploma in the field of E&M in June 2015. In August 2014, they obtained a certification in CAE from Cambridge English Language Assessment. From 2015 to 2016, they enrolled in the University of Groningen and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence. Then, from 2016 to 2020, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatiekunde. Most recently, Younes attended the University of Amsterdam from 2020 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Studies with a specialization in Data Science.
