Donovan Volk has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Donovan is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at SysGen Solutions Group, where they lead a team of professionals in bringing a new managed IT service to Western Canada. Prior to this, Donovan held the position of Sales Director at Westgen Technologies, where they were responsible for generating and converting leads into deals, providing training and support to the sales staff, and establishing strong relationships with prospective clients. Donovan also served as the VP of Operations & Business Development at FieldCap Oilfield Paperwork Automation, guiding the company through a period of high growth while maintaining a strong customer base. Earlier in their career, Donovan held leadership roles at JWN, VistaVu Solutions, CGI, TELUS Communications, Clarity Inc., and Xerox, where they gained experience in sales, operations, marketing, and product management.
Donovan Volk attended the University of Saskatchewan from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) degree with a field of study in Finance and Marketing. In addition to their degree, Donovan has also obtained certifications as an SAP All-in-One Solution Consultant, Level 1 and as an SAP Business One Solution Consultant from SAP in 2014 and 2013 respectively.
