Gene Lee

Gene Lee has significant work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Gene is currently working as the Vice President Global Quality at T-knife Therapeutics since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director Quality, North America, VVS (C&GT) at Thermo Fisher Scientific from January 2021 to November 2021. From April 2016 to January 2021, Gene held the position of Senior Director, Global Quality Head at Pharmacyclics, an AbbVie Company. Before that, they worked at Novartis as the Quality Head, Pharmaceutical Operations from October 2012 to April 2016. From March 2011 to September 2012, they were the Quality Site Head, Executive Director at Boehringer Ingelheim. Gene also has experience working at Amgen as the QA Director from May 2007 to March 2011 and from September 2003 to May 2007. Gene started their career at Bayer HealthCare as a Senior Quality Supervisor from January 1999 to September 2003. Prior to that, they were a QC Senior Scientist, Chemistry at Bayer HealthCare from 1995 to 1999. Gene also worked briefly as a QC Analyst at Johnson & Johnson, Life Scan Division in 1994 and as a Summer Intern, Analytical Development Protein Chemistry at Bayer HealthCare in 1993. In addition, they are an Advisory Council Member at Harvard Business Review since February 2022.

Gene Lee is currently attending the MIT Sloan School of Management, pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Management, with a specialization in General. Prior to this, Gene obtained a Bachelor of Biological Sciences degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In addition to their formal education, Gene has also obtained several certifications, including the Dare to Lead training from Dare to Lead™, completed in December 2019, Dale Carnegie Training in December 2015, and the PDA Aseptic Processing Certification from the Parenteral Drug Association in November 2008.
