Kathryn Hupfer

Kathryn Hupfer is an accomplished packaging R&D engineer with extensive experience in the food industry. Currently employed at T. Marzetti Company since June 2018, Kathryn focuses on new package development for a variety of products, including retail and foodservice dressings, dips, and frozen breads. Previously, Kathryn served as a packaging R&D project manager at The Kraft Heinz Company, managing the commercialization of innovative packaging solutions for renowned food products, including Velveeta and Gevalia. Early career experience includes positions at Kraft Foods Group and Nestle S.A., where Kathryn specialized in packaging development and testing for frozen foods and other product lines. Kathryn holds a Master of Science in Food Science and Technology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Cornell University.
