Hang Kuen Lau

Hang Kuen Lau is an experienced professional in materials science and engineering, currently serving as the New Market Development Scientific Lead at TA Instruments since September 2018, after holding the position of Application Support Engineer. Concurrently, Lau has been a Research Assistant at the University of Delaware since August 2012, where significant contributions include the expression, purification, and characterization of resilin-like polypeptides, as well as investigating liquid-liquid phase separation phenomena. Prior research experience includes roles at Drexel University, focusing on the functionalization of polycaprolactone and nanocomposite hydrogels, and co-op positions at Merck, where Lau conducted studies on pharmaceutical packaging and solid dispersion formulations. Lau holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical & Biological Engineering from Drexel University.
