Ric Turmel, LEED AP, has a strong background in sales and business development in the HVAC industry. Ric started their career in 1987 at American Stabilis, Inc., where they served as a Product Manager and oversaw the development and marketing of products for the residential and commercial HVAC marketplace. In 1993, Turmel joined Invensys as a Product Manager and was responsible for the marketing and development of products for the residential and commercial hydronics marketplace. Ric then moved on to Encompass Mechanical in 1998, where they served as a PreConstruction Sales Manager and was responsible for sales and management of multiple sales personnel. Turmel joined Comfort Systems USA Energy Services in 2003 as a PreConstruction Sales Manager, overseeing sales and managing a team of sales personnel. In 2003, they also took on the role of General and Sales Manager at Valley Wide Mechanical, a division of GroupMAC. Turmel joined Carrier Enterprise in 2007 and held various roles including Senior Commercial Sales Engineer, Commercial Sales Manager, and General Manager, where they were responsible for HVAC residential, commercial, and parts sales. Most recently, Turmel joined Taco Comfort Solutions in 2015, serving as the Vice President of Engineered Products & Systems and later as the Senior Vice President of Business Development. Ric currently holds the position of Area Vice President of Sales. Throughout their career, Turmel has demonstrated strong leadership skills, financial planning expertise, and the ability to generate sales and increase volume with existing accounts.

Ric Turmel, LEED AP, has an educational background mainly focused on green building and business. In 2008 and 2009, they attended the US Green Building Council, where they obtained their LEED AP certification in the field of Green Building. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2005, they attended Post University, although the degree earned is not specified. In 1990 to 1992, they studied at the University of Maine in the field of Business. Before that, from 1988 to 1990, they attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, concentrating on Electrical Engineering.

Aside from their educational background, Ric Turmel also holds the Niagara AX Certification, which they obtained in April 2015 from Tridium institution.
