Ian McIntosh

Ian McIntosh has a diverse and extensive work experience, starting with their role as Vice President of Sales and New Business at TAK Communications in 2023. Prior to this, they spent several years at Google, where they held various positions, including Global Head of Enablement & GTM Strategy for Google Cloud, Head of Strategic Partner Operations and Engineering, and Field Operations Manager. At Google, they played a crucial role in implementing cloud services, creating go-to-market plans, and managing strategic partner relationships. Before joining Google, Ian worked at Time Warner Cable as a Construction Supervisor, overseeing telecommunication infrastructure construction and managing project budgets. Ian also worked as a Fiber Optic Splicer for a contractor and served in the Royal Air Force as an Electronic Engineer, where they supervised a team, scheduled projects, and implemented cryptographic communications security. Overall, Ian McIntosh has a strong background in sales, business strategy, operations management, and engineering.

Ian McIntosh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from RAF Cosford in the years 1998-2001. Ian also holds a Technical Certification in Fiber Optic Installation, Maintenance and Repair from City and Guilds of London. In addition, they have a certification in CP100A: Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals from ROI Training, obtained in 2016.
