Alaa Abdelhaq

Alaa Abdelhaq has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career at Umniah as a Customer Care Representative in 2005. They then moved on to Tejari as an Account Manager from 2004 to 2006. Afterward, they joined HSBC as a Senior Account Manager from 2006 to 2007. They then worked at SYNTAX as a Web Developer from 2007 to 2008. Following that, they joined Maktoob.com as a Senior Developer and Team Lead from 2008 to 2009. They then co-founded Tech Spaceship in 2010, where they held multiple roles such as Business Development/Analyst, Senior Technical Consultant, and Sales. They were involved in various tasks including advising clients on digital transformation strategies, securing potential deals, and managing business operations. Currently, Alaa is the Chief Technology Officer at Takalam, responsible for overseeing the smooth running of their online counseling platform and executing the technology strategy. They lead a team of engineers, designers, and technical professionals to continuously improve the platform.

From 2000 to 2004, Alaa Abdelhaq attended Jami'at Al-Yarmouk where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
