Jason Escalante

Jason Escalante is an experienced manager and researcher with a robust background in library science and art history. From June 2014 to June 2024, Jason served as Manager of Reference Assets at Rockstar Games, focusing on the creation and management of taxonomies and metadata while collaborating globally to meet archival needs. Prior experience includes roles as a Librarian & Researcher, Curatorial Assistant at Columbia University's Avery Library, and an intern at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Jason's foundational experience began at the Getty Research Institute as Library Assistant III, where responsibilities included interlibrary loan operations and reference inquiries. Jason holds a Master of Arts in Library Science from Pratt Institute, along with a BA in Art History from the University of California, Berkeley, and an additional Master of Arts in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from Columbia University.
