Sofiène Marzouki

Sofiène Marzouki has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Sofiène started their career as an Investment Advisor at Robeco from April 2011 to August 2013. In 2013, they took on various roles including CEMS Club Vice-President/Treasurer at NHH and Board Representative for the CEMS Global Student Board.

In 2014, Marzouki worked as the Head of Business Development and Deputy Managing Director in Egypt for Hellofood.com, a global online food delivery service. Sofiène then became the Country Manager for Hellofood in Ghana from December 2014 to January 2017, where they were involved in numerous aspects of the business, including finance, marketing, and operations.

From 2017 to 2019, Marzouki held several positions within the Jumia Group, including Co-Founder of Jumia Food Tunisia, Managing Director of Jumia Food North Africa, and Chief Commercial Officer for On-Demand Services.

In 2018, they also became a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum, where they worked alongside other young professionals to address global challenges.

In 2019, Marzouki joined talabat as the Managing Director of Jordan and later became the Senior Director of Regional Markets. In December 2019, they transitioned to become the Managing Director of Otlob.com, which was later rebranded to talabat. Recently, they have taken on the role of Regional Director of Strategy, Partnerships & Business Development at talabat.

Sofiène Marzouki's education history includes earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2013. Sofiène also completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Management from the same institution in 2013. Additionally, they attended CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) to further enhance their knowledge in International Management.
