Marié Cohen

Born in South Africa, Marié now divides her time between South Africa and Australia. Having lived and worked in many countries, she’s been involved in teaching Business English to adults for the past 9 years. With a career of 15+ years in corporate Human Resources, she feels that bringing people together for training is the best part of HR. Transitioning to Account Management for Talaera was a natural next step because of her valuable insight into what clients need from their training provider. Marié is a keen hiker, scuba diver, and dog lover and can often be found up a mountain or sleeping in a tent in the wild, surrounded by exotic wildlife.

Marié holds a B.Com. (Hons) in Business Management, specialization in Human Resources, from the University of South Africa, a B.A. in Ecotourism Management from Tshwane University of Technology, SA and a CELTA from the University of Cambridge.
