Marc Morris

Marc Morris has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Marc currently serves as the Chief of Staff at Talitrix, a Software as a Service (SaaS) provider revolutionizing the electronic monitoring industry. Prior to this, Marc held the position of Chief People Officer at Talitrix, where they aimed to reform the criminal justice system and reduce recidivism.

Marc also had a significant tenure at The Talmadge Group, where they held the role of President. The Talmadge Group is a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that offers staffing solutions to commercial, federal, state, and local governments. Marc's responsibilities included overseeing Enterprise Resource Planning, application development, legacy systems maintenance, and various other functions.

In 2017, Marc was elected as the Representative for the 26th District in the Georgia House of Representatives. Marc served on multiple committees, including Economic Development and Tourism, Appropriations, Economic Development, Banks & Banking, and Interstate Cooperation.

Prior to their career in state politics, Marc worked as an Account Manager at JLS Software Service, LLC, and Triad Data, Inc. Marc also served in the United States Navy as a Religious Program Specialist, holding assignments at various naval facilities.

Marc Morris completed their high school education at Glynn Academy High School from 1978 to 1981. Marc obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on Military Strategic Studies, General. Later, from 1988 to 1999, they attended Central Texas College for their undergraduate studies. There, Marc achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
