David Girard is the current Vice President of Global Customer Care & Technical Account Management at Talkdesk. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Customer Care at Genesys from January 2018 to October 2022. In this role, they successfully drove a positive and differentiating customer experience across one of the three major product lines, PureConnect. Additionally, they performed in a dual role propelling brand awareness and trust as well as employing innovative technology to enhance capabilities increasing customer experience.

Under David's leadership, the team at Genesys increased process improvements, standardized processes and procedures, restructured the teams to align in five diverse tech stacks, and provided 24/7 coverage increasing NPS score from the 50’s to 70+ enhancing effectiveness and efficiency. In addition, David spearheaded 50K customer cases YoY providing innovative and scalable solutions, increasing user experience, and achieving organizational targets aligned with the enterprise objectives and goals.

Before their time at Genesys, David built and developed a team of 70 engineers in Manila, Philippines championing the formation of a Center of Excellence. Proactively recruited, hired, and trained highly qualified talent to drive the operations.

David Girard has a Master of Science in Information & Communication from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications, Sales & Management from the same school.
