Cavelle Schmid has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Cavelle worked at Tangerine as the Director of Digital Delivery & Orchestration and as an Agile Portfolio Lead - Web. Cavelle also worked as a Scrum Master at Tangerine. Prior to that, they were an Independent Consultant at TELUS Digital, where they served as a Senior Program Manager and a Senior Scrum Master for My Account. Cavelle also gained experience at Scotiabank, where they worked as a Scrum Master in Data & Compliance Wealth IT&S and as a Business Systems Analyst in Advisory Data & Compliance Wealth IT&S. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst and a Senior Analyst in different roles at Scotiabank. Before that, Cavelle started their career as an Intern at IPCS - Institution for Promotion of Civil Society, where they engaged in community outreach and grant proposal writing.

Cavelle Schmid completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Wellbeing and Human Development at the University of Bath from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, their education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Tourism & Environment from Brock University. In terms of additional certifications, Cavelle Schmid obtained a Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in July 2017, and they also hold a SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
