We have an exciting opportunity to join our Tapi family as a Sales Estimator and we’re looking for that extra special individual who oozes our ONETAPI Leadership behaviours and is energized about creating a great customer experience!

Your Tapi responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service that exceeds expectations.
  • Have an understanding and respectful approach to make customers feel relaxed and reassured in their homes.
  • Using our Masterpiece software (we provide all the training you need!), during every customer visit to help you measure and provide solutions with ease.
  • Responsible for preparing a detailed and accurate flooring plan with the ability to provide an onsite quote using our Masterpiece software.
  • Carry out inspections of where we have identified a faulty floor and producing reports.
  • Check for uneven floor levels and potential issues e.g. dampness or trailing cables.
  • Processing customer orders thoroughly and accurately where applicable.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety and security requirements set out by the Company.

You’re a presentable, switched-on, and honest person, who brings a little joy to every interaction. You’re naturally self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to impress. You sweat the small stuff and have a “no customer left behind” attitude.

You're up for a challenge and thrive on a busy schedule. You are always on the lookout for ways to improve things for customers, colleagues, and you have a bias towards action. You will also have a savviness to plan efficient routes through towns and cities to maximise your time and the amount of customers you see.

You act with integrity and respect when in a customer’s home, understanding how small actions can leave significant positive impressions (we have a 5* Trust Pilot rating to maintain after all)! 

You are detailed, accurate and good with numbers, ensuring precision when measuring and planning rooms. You don’t shy away from Tapi tech, using the Masterpiece system to your advantage. You understand the importance the end-to-end customer experience and your role in it, ensuring that you make it easy for Fitters to fit our flooring and leaving customers with a huge smile on their faces!

You’re a quick learner and effectively apply your knowledge on all aspects of floor preparation, and credibly execute floor covering and accessories recommendations, providing a great Tapi service for the customer.
