John Leonard

John Leonard has held various leadership roles in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. John started their career at Ceregene, focusing on gene therapy production, before moving on to Eli Lilly as a Business Development Consultant. John then transitioned to roles at Southern Research, CASI Pharmaceuticals, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Their most recent positions include Vice President of Global Business Development at Denovo Biopharma, Executive Vice President of Business Development at HUYABIO International, and Chief Business Officer at Targazyme. Additionally, they have served as a Strategic Advisor at a Stealth Mode AI Startup. Throughout their career, John has focused on developing and commercializing innovative therapeutics to improve patient outcomes and drive shareholder value.

John Leonard completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at North Carolina State University. John then pursued a degree in Gene/Genetic Therapy at UC San Diego. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from USC Marshall School of Business in 2014.
