Nivaran Kapur

Nivaran Kapur has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Nivaran is currently the Head of OTC Business at Taro Pharmaceutical Industries, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the President of Granules Consumer Health at Granules India Limited from June 2016 to November 2021. Nivaran also held the role of President- AUROHEALTH at Aurobindo Pharma USA, Inc. from February 2014 to June 2016. Before that, Nivaran was the President & CEO of Capricorn Pharma Inc. from April 2011 to February 2014, and Chief Operating Officer from December 2004 to April 2011. Nivaran started their career as a Product Manager at ADH Health Products in 2001, and later held the same role at Knoll Pharmaceuticals LTD (ABBOTT LABS) from 1999 to 2001 and at ASTRA ZENECA from 1997 to 1999.

Nivaran Kapur completed their Bachelor's in Pharmacy from the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences- Manipal in the years 1990 to 1994. Nivaran then pursued an MBA in Marketing at the Institute of Management Studies from 1995 to 1997.
