Peter Wedgwood

Peter Wedgwood has extensive experience in health and safety management, currently serving as Leader of Health & Safety and Leader of Health & HSE Systems at TasNetworks since October 2020. Prior to this role, Peter held various positions at Rio Tinto from June 2013 to October 2020, including Superintendent of Health and Safety, Specialist in Critical Risk Management, and Physiotherapist and Injury Management Advisor. Peter also worked as an Injury Management Consultant at Ethos Health Pty Ltd from January 2011 to June 2013, and as a Physiotherapist at Rio Tinto from January 2008 to December 2010. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Newcastle and dual Bachelor's degrees in Physiotherapy and Exercise Science from Griffith University.
