Govind Kumar then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business/Commerce, General from Gokhale Education Societys Shri Bhausaheb Vartak Arts Science and Commerce College from 1992 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained an Inter CA and B Com degree in Business/Commerce, General from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 1997 and 2001.
