Ahnaf Prio

Ahnaf Prio has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Ahnaf began their career in 2016 as a Cashier at Turtle Mountain Cafe in Sodexo, where they took and served orders in a fast-paced environment. Ahnaf also worked in the Rodney A Briggs Library as a Circulation Desk Assistant, performing clerical and administrative tasks.

In 2016, Ahnaf became an International Mentor at UMN Morris International Student Programs. In this role, they advised first-year international students on academics and on-campus activities, conducting weekly one-on-one consultations and reporting progress to their supervisor.

In 2017, Ahnaf joined JazzintheBay.org as an Engineering Consultant, working remotely for a few months. Ahnaf then transitioned to the University of Minnesota-Morris as a Marketing Technologist Intern, leading a team to optimize digital marketing efforts and implementing web development suggestions based on analytical comparisons.

In 2018, Ahnaf became a Software Engineer at Gaan Music Streaming App, where they focused on front-end development and cross-platform optimization. Ahnaf also worked at MyMeds as a Software Engineer, designing and developing features for the MyMeds app using Java Spring MVC and MySQL.

In 2019, Ahnaf joined Securian Financial as an Engineering Consultant. Ahnaf played a key role in architecting and developing features for a customer-facing digital platform and led a team in the development of a mobile application for iOS and Android platforms. Ahnaf also mentored summer interns and participated in hiring panels for contractors.

In 2020, Ahnaf co-founded Tavolo and served as the Chief Technology Officer. Ahnaf hired and led an engineering team in the ongoing development of customer and restaurant applications. Ahnaf also worked on architecting and developing features using React Native, NodeJS, and AWS technologies.

Throughout their career, Ahnaf has demonstrated strong technical skills and leadership abilities in roles spanning software engineering, digital marketing, and team management.

Ahnaf Prio received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota-Morris in 2019. In 2021, they enrolled in the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to pursue a Master of Science in Management, with a field of study that is not specified.

In addition to their formal education, Ahnaf Prio has obtained various certifications from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
