Abigail Kalaya Kwek

Abigail Kalaya Kwek has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. In 2012, they founded Happenstance, a company that specializes in freelance design work and visual content for various clients. Abigail Kalaya also manages their own line of unique hand-crafted products. From 2014 to 2015, they served as the Marketing Director for SOSCIETY, a student-led organization at SMU. Abigail also gained experience as a Marketing Intern at LinkedIn in 2015, where they collaborated with sales teams to develop marketing programs and drive thought leadership. Abigail Kalaya then joined Ruder Finn Asia as a Corporate Communications Intern, where they assisted with content creation and media relations. Abigail later worked as a Strategist at TBWA\\ Group Singapore, where they led and contributed to successful campaigns for international brands. Abigail Kalaya also worked as a Strategist at 72andSunny and as a Senior Strategist at Hogarth Worldwide. Most recently, Abigail served as the Strategy Lead for the APAC region at Hogarth Worldwide, where they managed a team of planners and played a key role in leading and growing the strategy practice. In 2023, they joined TBWA\\Australia as a Strategy Director. Throughout their career, Abigail demonstrated their ability to develop effective brand and communications strategies, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive business results.

Abigail Kalaya Kwek obtained a Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSocSc) degree in Sociology and Corporate Communication from Singapore Management University in the years 2012-2016. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in International Business from the University of Manitoba during the period 2014-2015. Abigail also possesses certifications in Meta Certified Creative Strategy Professional from Meta (year 2022), Amazon Advertising Foundations Certification from Amazon (year 2021), and Amazon Retail For Advertisers also from Amazon (year 2021).
