Subhendu Maity

Subhendu Maity is a Senior Research Scientist at TCG Lifesciences Pvt Ltd since August 2019, specializing in medicinal research within a leading contract research organization in India. Prior to this role, Subhendu served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at National Taiwan University from December 2016 to August 2019, focusing on organic photochromic molecules, particularly tuning anthracene-Pentiptycene systems for luminescent applications. As a Dr. D. S. Kothari Postdoc fellow at the University of Hyderabad, Subhendu developed carbazole-based heterocycles for light-emitting applications. Earlier experiences include a Research Associate position at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a Research Scientist role at Syngenta from 2006 to 2012. Subhendu holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Calcutta and a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
