QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Past relevant work experience in a broadcast setting preferred.
Proficient in the operation of computer-based video distribution systems and broadcast equipment.
Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, as broadcasting demands.
Ability to physically sit, visually monitor, and tactically manipulate NOC equipment.
SKILLS:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating broadcast automation systems, familiarity with video servers, routers, switchers, and strong troubleshooting abilities. Experience with video editing software.
Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor multiple sources simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and quality in transmission.
Problem-solving: Capacity to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, particularly in high-pressure situations.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
