Kanak Mahip Singh

Kanak Mahip Singh has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and data science. They started their career as a Research Assistant in the CS Department at Harvey Mudd College in 2013. They then worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Stonewain Systems, Inc. in 2015. After that, they served as a Software Consultant at Harvey Mudd College and a Full Stack Software Engineer at Laserfiche in 2016. In 2018, they joined Stonewain Systems, Inc. again, this time as a Data Scientist. In 2020, Kanak Mahip Singh worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Brown Institute for Media Innovation. They then moved on to TD Securities, where they held various roles including Associate in the Data Science Team and Vice President of Technology Solutions.

Kanak Mahip Singh has a Master's degree in Data Science from Columbia University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in a joint major of Computer Science and Math from Harvey Mudd College. Kanak Mahip completed their high school education at Pathways World School, Aravali in India, where they obtained an IB Diploma and studied subjects such as Math, Physics, Economics, and Design & Technology. Kanak Mahip'sprimary education was at St. John's High School in Chandigarh. In addition to their formal education, Kanak has obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, Hands-On Essentials in Data Sharing, Data Applications, and Data Warehouse from Snowflake, and Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School.
