Hamza Qureshi Uxc

Hamza Qureshi has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience design. Hamza started their career as a Teaching Assistant in the Carnegie Mellon University Pre-College Architecture Program, where they led seminars, offered critiques, and drafted curriculum materials. Hamza then interned at Mesarch Studio, where they gained valuable design experience. Hamza later worked as a Design Intern at Gap Inc., where they designed store layouts and created signage specifications.

In 2019, Hamza joined the Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute as a UX Design Lead. Hamza collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to develop a user interface for operating semi-autonomous robots.

Hamza then worked at Capital One as a UX Designer, contributing to projects such as the early paycheck initiative and the creation of the Manage Your Data Portal. Hamza'sdesigns helped deliver billions of dollars in early paychecks and ensure CCPA compliance.

Currently, Hamza is employed at Teachable as a Product Designer. Hamza has led design functions within the Creator Commerce pod and worked on projects related to payment gateways, sales reporting, and user tagging. Hamza conducted extensive user research and collaborated with stakeholders to address user pain points and drive growth.

Throughout their career, Hamza has demonstrated their ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver impactful designs.

Hamza Qureshi, UXC, pursued their education between the years 2015 and 2019 at Carnegie Mellon University. During this time, they earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Architecture, with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction as their field of study.

In addition to their degree, Hamza has obtained certifications to further their skills and expertise. In July 2021, they received a Certificate in Motion Graphics from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Moreover, in June 2020, they successfully obtained a UX Certificate from the Nielsen Norman Group.
