Austin Kinzer

Austin Kinzer currently serves as the Agrivoltaics Senior Technical Specialist at American Farmland Trust since September 2023. With a diverse background, Austin has also worked as a Big Mountain Ski Coach at Team Summit Colorado since December 2019 and held positions such as Graduate Intern in Agrivoltaic Analysis at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Graduate Research Assistant at the Payne Institute for Public Policy. Previous roles include an EDF Climate Corps Fellowship with Iron Mountain, Graduate STEM Communication Designer at Colorado School of Mines, and Sr. Associate in Business Development & Engineering at Nikola Power. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Advanced Energy Systems and current pursuit of a PhD in the same field at Colorado School of Mines, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
