Plabon Rahman

Plabon Rahman has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent position was as the Head of Operations at Teamed, a position they started in October 2022. Prior to this, they were an EMBA candidate at both Columbia Business School and London Business School from May 2021 to February 2023.

Before pursuing their MBA, Plabon Rahman worked at Otis Elevator Co. from June 2019 to August 2021 as the UK&I Senior Manager for Sales Operations and Technical. In this role, they supervised and streamlined the UK&I Sales Operations and Technical Department, refined the Sales to Installation process, and redesigned pricing methodologies for new bids.

From January 2017 to May 2019, Plabon Rahman held the position of Director of Asset Management, Investment, and Biogas at GRDF. Plabon directed the Industrial Asset Management and Investment Department and built and managed a Biogas team. Additionally, they chaired the Investment Committee and established Biogas Product Development and Go-to-market Strategies.

Prior to their role at GRDF, Plabon Rahman held various positions at the same company, including Senior Program Manager for Strategy, Innovation, HR, and EH&S from September 2013 to December 2016, and Head of Operations from October 2009 to September 2013. In these roles, they played a key role in defining the company's strategic roadmap, developing gas usage strategies, implementing Lean Six-Sigma frameworks, and leading operational activities across multiple sites.

Plabon started their career as a Project Manager at GDF SUEZ Energy UK in April 2009 and as a Portfolio Manager for Energy Supply and Carbon at IDEX-Groupe from January 2008 to June 2008. Prior to that, they worked as an Astrophysicist at Centre national de la recherche scientifique from September 2006 to December 2006.

Plabon Rahman holds an impressive education history. Plabon completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from both London Business School and Columbia Business School, graduating in 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Gas Engineering and Management from Mines Paris from 2008 to 2009. Plabon Rahman also holds a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Theoretical Physics and Maths from EPF Engineering School, which they obtained between 2003 and 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Plabon Rahman has obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. Plabon holds a certification as a Data Scientist with Python Track from DataCamp, a Google Data Analytics Certificate from Google, a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org, and a Python for Finance certification from Wall Street Prep.
