Axel Fernández Jiménez

Axel Fernández Jiménez has a strong background in software development. Axel is currently working as a Software Engineer II at Tebra since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Kyndryl as an Application Developer from November 2021 to July 2022. In this role, they collaborated with a team of developers, handling tickets for both backend and frontend development. Axel used a SCRUM routine to prioritize and deliver the client's requirements.

Before Kyndryl, Axel was a Software Developer at First Factory from November 2020 to December 2021. During this time, they provided feedback and trained new team members, actively participated in client meetings, and presented demos at the end of sprints. Axel also worked as a Jr Software Developer at First Factory from November 2019 to October 2020. In this position, they collaborated with Mid and Sr developers, received feedback on their work, worked on application development, and ensured quality by working with QA.

Axel also has experience working at S&P Global Platts as a Full-stack Developer from April 2020 to December 2021, at Roc Capital as a Full-stack Developer from November 2019 to April 2020, and at INEC Costa Rica as a Full Stack Developer from August 2019 to December 2019. During their time at INEC Costa Rica, they developed an application from scratch, collaborated with a team, and worked closely with clients to ensure application requirements were met. Axel also tested the software with the team to ensure its quality.

Axel Fernández Jiménez has a strong educational background in project management and computing engineering. Axel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computing Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica, where they studied from 2016 to 2020.

Following their undergraduate studies, Axel pursued two Master's degrees in Project Management. Axel completed one Master's degree at the Universitat de Barcelona from 2021 to 2022, and another at OBS Business School during the same time period.

In addition to their formal education, Axel has also obtained various certifications that enhance their skill set. Axel obtained the "Scrum Foundations Professional Certificate SFPC" from CertiProf in September 2020. Additionally, they received certifications in "Web Development II" and "Web Development I" from Google in April 2020 and March 2020, respectively. These certifications demonstrate Axel's commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of technology.
