Lakmal Embuldeniya has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Lakmal is currently the Vice President - Global Professional Services at Tech One Global Ltd, where they are responsible for leading the Global Presales, Delivery & Support Services departments. Prior to this, Lakmal held the role of AGM - Global Presales, Delivery & Support Services at the same company. Lakmal also has experience as the Lead for Enterprise Resources Planning (Microsoft D365) and Head of Business Innovation at Tech One Global Ltd.

In addition to their tenure at Tech One Global Ltd, Lakmal has held several positions at ISACA, including President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Membership Director, and Marketing Director. Lakmal has also served as the President and Founder of the Curtin Alumni Sri Lanka Chapter, as well as an Executive Committee Member.

Lakmal has worked for other companies such as Enadoc, where they held the position of Vice President of Commercial Operations, and GeoEDGE (Pvt) Ltd, where they worked as a Consultant for the Learning Assets Management Platform. Lakmal has also worked as a Project Manager for the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka.

Additionally, Lakmal has co-founded companies such as CogNet and Seven Steps Globe (Private) Limited. Lakmal has also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Greenwich and Kingston University.

- From 2006 to 2008, Lakmal attended Curtin University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems and Networking.

- From 2009 to 2012, Lakmal enrolled in the University of Moratuwa, where they completed a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Information Systems Security.

- In the same period as their master's degree, from 2009 to 2012, Lakmal also pursued a Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management (PQHRM) from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), specializing in Human Resources Management and Services.

- Prior to their master's degree, Lakmal studied at SLIIT from 2005 to 2009, earning a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology.

- Lakmal's secondary education took place from 1997 to 2005 at Royal College Colombo, where they completed their Advance Level degree.
