Michael Merrifield

Michael Merrifield started their career as a Software Engineer at Purdue University in 1990. Michael then worked as a Software Engineer at Camax Manufacturing Tech before it was acquired by SDRC in 1996. Michael continued working as a Software Engineer at SDRC until 1997 when they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer. In 2000, they became a Group Manager at Structural Dynamics Research Corporation. Michael then joined Electronic Data Systems as an Advanced Software Systems Engineer in 2001. From 2002 to 2005, they worked at Symantec Corporation as a Development Group and Project Manager. In 2005, they joined SmartCAMcnc as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked until 2018. During their time at SmartCAMcnc, they developed various enhancements for the SmartCAM application. Since 2018, they have been working at Tech Soft 3D, initially as a Developer Support Engineer and currently as the Developer Support Manager for North America.

Michael Merrifield completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Clarkson University from 1983 to 1987. Following that, they pursued their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, where they successfully completed the program from 1987 to 1991.
