Norman Fong

Norman Fong is a highly experienced Research and Development Engineer currently employed at TechInsights since October 2022, focusing on innovative laboratory processes for the analysis of advanced semiconductor devices. Prior to this role, Norman served as a Research Associate at the National Research Council Canada from July 2016 to July 2021, where work concentrated on quantum electronics, photonics, and MEMS fabrication processes. Earlier experiences include a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Ottawa, where Norman specialized in integrated plasmonics, and extensive research and teaching roles at Carleton University, including a Graduate Research Assistantship and positions as a Teaching Assistant. Norman holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University, complemented by additional qualifications from the University of Ottawa.
