Jason Zumstein has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jason started their career at Boeing as an Engineer/Scientist in 2000 and held the position until 2003. Jason then worked as a Project Engineering Consultant at Westmar Consultants from July 2006 to April 2007.
In 2009, Jason joined Warren Wilson College as an Adjunct Professor and taught until December 2011. Following this, they became a Senior Engineer at Solar Stik, Inc in June 2012 and held the role until August 2015.
Jason then transitioned to Barbaricum, where they initially served as a Systems Engineer from September 2015 to September 2017. Jason later took on the role of Chief Engineer at Barbaricum and remained in the position until January 2019.
In 2019, Jason joined Pisgah RAD as a Principal Engineer and worked until October 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Project Manager at Technosylva Inc., starting in September 2021. In this role, they collaborate with team members to develop project plans, coordinates project tasks, and ensures timely completion of deliverables. Additionally, they support senior leadership and communicates with project leads and clients. Jason also plays a key role in scheduling and coordinating software releases for all projects and platforms.
Jason Zumstein received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from North Carolina State University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Jason then pursued further education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from 1998 to 2000. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jason obtained a certification in Giving Your Elevator Pitch from LinkedIn in January 2019.
