Wanying Zhang

Wanying Zhang is an experienced investment professional currently serving as an Investment Manager at Techstars, the leading early-stage startup investor, since May 2023. Prior to this role, Wanying co-founded Casetak, a software solution enhancing financial processes through automation above Excel and Google Sheets from April 2021 to April 2023. Wanying has held multiple positions at Prime Capital AG, including Investment Manager and Investment Analyst, where work focused on alternative investments with significant asset management responsibilities. Earlier experience includes investment analyst roles at Expat Capital and CITIC Securities Company Limited, as well as a spring trainee position at Goldman Sachs. Wanying holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from HEC Paris and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Finance from Tsinghua University, complemented by study at Università Bocconi.
