Dr. Jackie Scales

Dr. Jackie Scales is the Director and Head of Global Diversity & Inclusion at Teck Resources Limited since January 2019. Previously, Jackie served as Senior Manager and National Inclusion Talent Lead within Deloitte's Human Capital team from January 2011 to January 2019, focusing on Inclusion within talent management and aligning business strategies with HR agendas. Additionally, Jackie contributed as a Board Member for Pride at Work Canada from January 2012 to 2015 and held significant roles at CIBC, including General Manager & Senior Director of Distribution Services, where expertise was applied to finance and channel partnerships, and Program Director Planning for the Internet Channel, leading to a top ranking by Forester. Academically, Jackie earned a Doctor of Social Science in Gender Studies and an MBA in Leadership from Royal Roads University.
