Wayne Palmer

Wayne Palmer has held various leadership roles in technology companies throughout their career. Wayne is currently the Chief Digital Officer at Tecknuovo, a technology consultancy with a focus on product experimentation, legacy modernization, cloud platform, and data engineering. Prior to this, Wayne worked as the People & Operations Director and Delivery & Innovation Director at Tecknuovo.

Before joining Tecknuovo, Wayne served as the Head of Product Delivery at Thames Water, where they oversaw the delivery of various projects. Wayne also worked as the Managing Director & Principal Consultant at Open Works Consulting, where they provided consulting services in managing and leading digital transformations for clients.

Additionally, Wayne has experience in agile practices and transformation. Wayne was the Head of Agile at Zenoo and a Lean/Agile Consultant at Three. Wayne also held the role of S&S Associate at Sullivan & Stanley - The Change Society, where they contributed expertise in organizational change management.

Wayne has worked as an advisor in various capacities as well. Wayne was a Consulting Practice Advisor at Fujitsu Global, where they developed service propositions and introduced Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) into the consulting practice. Wayne also served as a Digital Transformation Advisor, supporting Fujitsu and a logistics client in their adoption of Agile and DevOps practices.

Furthermore, Wayne has led transformative initiatives in their role as the International Product Transformation & Engineering Lead at Vocalink. Wayne facilitated the transformation of a real-time payments platform through the introduction of multi-disciplinary teams and continuous improvement frameworks.

Earlier in their career, Wayne was the Head of Agile Transformation at 4finance, where they led an agile change program focused on customer centricity and employee engagement. Wayne also worked as an Associate Director and Principal Lean/Agile Consultant at InfoReady, where their responsibilities included adopting modern engineering practices and redesigning the operating model.

Wayne Palmer attended Bournemouth University from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained a HND degree in Business Information Technology. Wayne continued their education at Bournemouth University from 1996 to 1999, earning a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Information Systems Management.
