Thomas Fann

Thomas (Shin) Fann has a diverse and extensive work experience. Thomas (Shin) began their career in 2008 as a Board Director and CFO for Ford Taiwan, where they played a key role in developing and implementing a turnaround plan during the global crisis. Thomas (Shin) later served as the President and Chairman of Ford Taiwan, overseeing the company's total business operations in the country. During their tenure, they successfully negotiated and completed the Mazda Taiwan business transfer and introduced Ford's green power and mobility initiative.

In 2012, Fann took on various leadership roles, including Executive Chairman at Mazda Motor Taiwan, Member of the Asia-Pacific & Greater China Operating Committee at Ford, and Board Director and President at Ford Taiwan. Thomas (Shin) also served as the Chairman of the Board at the American Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan, where they advocated for deregulation, transparent regulation development, and free trade promotion.

Furthermore, Fann has experience in the automotive industry, having served as a Board Director, President, and Chair of the Executive Committee at Jiangling Motors Co., Ltd. Finally, they completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering, which spanned from 1989-1993.
