Alan Seiffert

Alan Seiffert has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alan is currently serving as the Head of Global Business Development at TED Conferences, where they lead business development, partnerships, licensing, and distribution activities worldwide. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Director at Paisley Park, overseeing the operations and programming of an active museum and production facility. Alan also has experience as the President/Owner of Midnight Blue Management, where they created and operated live events such as festivals and concerts. Alan's previous roles include serving as Vice President & Assistant General Manager at BET Networks, Senior Vice President at NBCUniversal, and Senior Vice President at CNBC Asia. Alan also held positions at NBC Universal, the National Basketball Association, 20th Television, and Paul Hastings as an attorney. Throughout their career, Alan has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, business development, negotiation, and talent management.

Alan Seiffert has a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from the University of Michigan Law School. Alan also holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Arts Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from California State University, Northridge. Additionally, they are certified as a Lawyer by the State Bar of California, obtained in 1992.
