Laura Seger has extensive work experience in marketing and partnerships. Laura started their career at EnviroMedia as a Marketing/PR Assistant, where they worked on advocacy and change marketing projects. Laura then moved to powerHouse Books as an Assistant Editor/Publicity Manager, where they played a role in launching the PowerHouse Arena, an event space and independent bookstore. Laura then joined St. Martin's Press as a Developmental Editor, where they published numerous books and worked closely with authors and agents.

Laura then transitioned to the Pratt Institute as a Marketing & Editorial Consultant before joining Condé Nast as an Integrated Marketing and Events Manager. At Condé Nast, Laura was part of the launch team for the company's content-to-commerce platform and developed ad products and marketing materials. Laura also planned and executed various events and partnerships.

Following their time at Condé Nast, Laura joined The New York Times as the Director of Creative Strategy for the T Brand Studio. In this role, they led a team responsible for designing and pitching insights-driven programs to secure advertising revenue. Laura also collaborated with organizational leadership to build strategic brand partnerships for innovative NYT products and platforms.

Currently, Laura serves as the Director of Marketing & Strategy, Partnerships at TED Conferences.
