Sumit Kumar

Sumit Kumar is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles within leading technology companies. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Lead at Tekion Corp since October 2020, Sumit has also held positions such as Senior Software Engineer and Co-founder & CTO at CallE, where a human-powered engagement platform was developed. Previous roles include Speech & Backend Engineer at Blackboard Radio, Software Engineer at Samsung Engineering, and Research Consultant at WorldQuant LLC, where quantitative trading strategies for the US equity market were created. Sumit's earlier experience includes data science at Shadowfax Technologies and leadership as House Secretary at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Sumit earned a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Mines Douai.
