Maria Zavala-Paredes (She/Her/Ella)

Maria Zavala-Paredes has extensive experience in housing counseling and community organization, currently serving as a HUD Certified Housing Counselor and Business Industry Liaison at Telamon Corporation since September 2011. In this role, Maria develops and implements housing counseling and education programs while conducting individual and group sessions. Previous positions include Community Organizer for T.I.M.E., Co-Chair and Certified HUD Housing Counselor at Van Buren Continuum of Care, and Outreach Manager at NorthWest Initiative, where Maria managed outreach programs, secured funding through grant proposals, and led community engagement efforts. Maria holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications Arts & Sciences from Michigan State University, enhancing expertise in communication and community relations.
