Michael Weisend

Michael Weisend is a highly experienced neuroscientist with a significant background in neural engineering and brain stimulation technologies. Currently serving as a Fellow and Senior Principal Neuroscientist at Teledyne Scientific & Imaging since November 2019 and as the Founder and Neural Engineering Lead at Next Neuroscience, Michael is focused on developing and commercializing innovations in brain-computer interfaces and enhancing human performance. Previous roles include Vice President of Neural Engineering at StimScience and Chief Science Officer at Santa Fe Neurosciences, along with substantial contributions as a Senior Scientist at Rio Grande Neurosciences and an Adjunct Professor at The Mind Research Network. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and Neuroscience from The University of New Mexico and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Biology from Heidelberg University.
