James W. Mayor is a highly experienced software architect and engineer with a robust background in medical device software development. Currently serving as Principal Software Architect at Teleflex, James specializes in the AC3 Optimus™ Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump. Previously, James held key positions at Baxter International Inc. as Principal Software Engineer and Software Architect, focusing on architectural evaluations, software upgrades, and feature licensing for medical devices. Earlier roles also include significant contributions at Smiths Medical across various software engineering positions, where James developed critical components for infusion pumps and implemented automated testing strategies. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Old Dominion University and has completed Electronics Technician "A" School with the United States Navy.
