Esther Fernández

Esther Fernández has a diverse range of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Esther started their career at Indra as a Junior Business Consultant in 2004 and later moved up to become a Project Manager for New Businesses in the Public Sector. Esther also held the role of Senior Business Development in Technology Services, where they were responsible for outsourcing business development for the public sector in the Barcelona and Andalucía regions.

In 2010, Esther joined Orange Business Services as the Financial Controller for Key Accounts in Europe. Esther later became the Global Margin Improvement Manager, where they led the margin improvement program for large projects in the South Europe Division. Esther was responsible for setting financial and sourcing KPIs, reporting to management and multifunctional teams, and issuing recommendations to close gaps and contain risks.

In 2014, Esther joined Telefónica Brasil as the Business Development Manager for LATAM, a role they held until 2018. Esther then moved to Telefónica as a B2B Business Acceleration, before being promoted to Head of Sales Operations at Telefónica Tech in 2020.

Throughout their career, Esther has demonstrated their expertise in business development, financial management, project management, and operations.

Esther Fernández obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in E-Business from IE Business School in 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Licenciatura en Administración y Dirección de Empresa at Universidad Complutense de Madrid between 1998 and 2003.
